Complex Care

This involves providing nursing care and support in educational settings. Nurses may:

✨ Support children with medical conditions during school hours (e.g., asthma, seizures, diabetes)

✨ Administer medications and management.

✨ IV injections and infusion, TPN feeds, G-tubes, meds/narcotics via IV push.

✨ Perform medical procedures- Tracheostomy, Oxygen therapy, oxygenation via NP & Suctioning.

✨ Assist with suctioning, catheter and mobility aid.

✨ Monitor and document student health.
