Complex Care

This involves providing nursing care and support in educational settings. Nurses may:

โœจ Support children with medical conditions during school hours (e.g., asthma, seizures, diabetes)

โœจ Administer medications and management.

โœจ IV injections and infusion, TPN feeds, G-tubes, meds/narcotics via IV push.

โœจ Perform medical procedures- Tracheostomy, Oxygen therapy, oxygenation via NP & Suctioning.

โœจ Assist with suctioning, catheter and mobility aid.

โœจ Wound care and monitoring.

โœจ Monitor and document student health.

It allows caregivers to rest, attend to personal matters, or take a break, while ensuring the loved one continues to receive quality care.

Personal Support Services

These services are provided by Personal Support Workers (PSWs) or caregivers and are designed to assist individuals with daily living activities. This can include:

โœจ Mobility assistance (transfers, walking support), Meal preparation and feeding

โœจ Companionship and Supervision.
